We are going to discuss, "Business Building Strategies" here......and not just any business.  We are going to discuss some strategies to build YOUR business!!!!

Now that you watched the video on our Favorite Sales Lead Software you may be considering how to make some extra money for yourself.

But you may have reservations.....or maybe you are not quite sure how you would go about doing that.

So let me take you step by step through a few scenarios.  First of all, if or when you purchase the software, you would get a website of your own.....for free.  And when you send visitors to your site, they can learn about the software and if or when they purchase the software, the money would go straight into your account.

Now the bad part.  You see, search engines look at these duplicated sites as irrelevant and that means no one will find them....because the search engines ignore them.  SO.....we have to drive traffic to them.

And you can do that with business cards with a link on them......email signature files....traffic from blogs (which are FREE) or websites....and one of my favorites, direct mail.  And of course you can talk to business people who may want the software.  You could also talk to people just like you who want to make an extra income, but they will think that they need to do sales.

BUT most people......like 95% of them......DO NOT LIKE SALES!  And that is great if you belong to this group.  You see, this is more marketing than anything else and sales follow automatically.  You let the website do the selling.

Your job would be to get this in front of people who would like this software....or get them to visit your new website.

So this is how I like to do this business and you may like to do it the same way.  But in any case, let me share it with you and you can decide for yourself.

I love the internet and I have 9 blogs right now, but that could change tomorrow.  What is great about the internet is that a blog or website works for you, 24 hours a day.......7 days a week and 365 days a year.  It doesn't call out sick and never complains.  And if you are sick and can't get to work.....the blog or website keeps working for you and your family.  That creates financial security for you and your family!!!

Now you are saying that you don't know how to make a blog or a website, right?  And that's where the training comes in.  I can help you with that.

But even great blogs and websites take time to build up popularity and get enough visitors to earn you a good income.....an automatic income!  So we also use another method to get visitors to look at our business and in the process we also get traffic to our blogs.

And that's where direct mail comes in......and don't get scared yet.  Just hear me out for a few minutes.

With direct mail you can get your software offer in front of people who really need it for their business.  And that is half the battle.  The rest of the battle is that some will want it and some won't.  So it comes down to numbers.

In the insurance business it's called the Law of Large Numbers.  Basically that means that you may not know what one person will do.  But if you have a large amount of people, you can tell what a percentage of them will do.  And pretty darn accurately as well.

So we want to mail our offer to a lot of people and to people who will love this software for their business.  And we find them using the software itself.  So the software is the best part of your new business, because it will give you the leads to those very people.

And as you saw in the video, you type in the group that you are interested in and a State.....and then print the address labels out.

Next you need a letter.  The letter should be short and to the point.  If you are trying to get visitors to your website.....the shorter the better.  And we can share a few tips with you to help you be successful.

So you have an address label, you have a letter....now you just need to stuff the envelope and mail it.

Have you ever seen ads that say they will pay you to stuff envelopes at home?  LOL......that is different!!  They pay you penny's to work your butt off and what you get paid just isn't worth it.

But what if you could get paid $300.00 or $600.00 per hour for stuffing envelopes.  Would you do it?  Yeah I think that you would!

So let me play with some numbers here and then you can decide for yourself if you think stuffing envelopes could be a fun business.

It costs about 60 cents to put together a letter and mail it.  You can get that cost down a little but to keep things easy, lets work with what I consider the worst case scenario.....the scenario that someone with a very low budget would be dealing with.

So if we wanted to mail 100 letters that would cost about $60.00.  If we got a 1% conversion rate and that's basically how many people actually bought the software after visiting your site.....you would make $300.00 from that sale.  If that person who bought the software from your offer, also wanted to make some extra cash and ended up selling a license to someone else.....their first sale is their qualifying sale.  That means in a traditional 1 up compensation plan, the first sale would roll up to you.  And you would make another $300.00.....or a total of $600.00 on your $60.00 direct mailing investment.

And that's only if 1 person out of 100 letters actually bought your software product!!!!

That is a really cool return!  Now you can see how it is not real hard work to make an extra $300.00 per month or per week.

But let's explore a little further.  In direct mail, getting 1% to 2% conversion rate is pretty normal.  Of course it could be lower.....but then again, high value products getting in front of highly targeted buyers can get the conversion rate even higher.

So let's just play with a 2% conversion rate for some examples of what we could do with this business.  Below is a table that will list the cost per letter, the number of letters, the conversion rate using 2% and the profit that we may expect if this scenario plays out as planned.

Now there is no guarantee of any fixed rate of success.  The audience that you choose to target, the letter and the numbers themselves, all come into play.  In other words if we had mailed a total of 1,000 letters and calculated the conversion rate perhaps we nailed the 2%.  But then again maybe we got zero sales on the first 100 and 4 sales on the second mailing.  So the average was 2%......but we didn't get any sales on the first mailing.

But this is one method that anyone can do.  The object is to just get business people to visit your website.  That's it!

And stuffing envelopes may sound boring but it can be fun.  I do it with my grandson and teach him how to build a business.  His reward?  Well I give him cash of course as one incentive, but he knows the seeds that we send out will also earn him and the rest of the family, a trip to Disney.

I also do it by myself while watching a movie.  Typically I set up the ironing board and put a file box on top of it.  Then I fold the letters, stamp the envelope and stuff them.....while watching the movie.  Boring maybe.  Therapeutic, perhaps.  Profitable......yes!

So if you think your life is too hectic....can your spouse help out.......can your kids?  And trust me when some sales come in and you make some money......ha,ha,ha.....you will love stuffing envelopes.

And think of this.  If you made lets say $2,000.00 you would be very happy.  If a friend said to you "what are you doing?"......you may answer, "well I am selling a sales lead extraction software that is on the cutting edge of technology."

Do you think that they would want to get involved?  Uhhhh....noooo!  But if you said, "well I stuff envelopes and I get back more than 10 times what I invest.....and in fact it can actually keep growing beyond that.  Would you like to make money stuffing envelopes too"?

Do you think that they would be interested in the second statement more than the first statement?  Yes they would!!!!

Remember, most people do not like sales.  And your business will grow much faster if you get away from sales......and just get visitors to your site and let your site do the rest!

So let's just look at the table once more.

Using the table above, you can divide it by two for a 1% conversion....or you can double it to see what a 4% return would make.  Play with the numbers.  But you can start to see what may be possible.

Now I understand that we all have budgets to work with.  So mailing out 100 letters may be too much in the beginning.  Maybe you have to make a sale or two to raise the money.  I borrowed it because I was destroyed financially and I am in the process of rebuilding what I lost because of a surprise illness and year long disability.

But then again now that I have a job....and a new business....I am very aggressive.  I am getting my mailings higher and higher with the goal of 100 per day....which is 500 per week and 2,000 per month. (Yeah I take off on the weekends :)

But I am very motivated.  I want to save my house and stuffing envelopes is just fine by me if I have the opportunity to make serious money.

So in review we get a free site when we buy the software.  There is actually a second site that is an upgrade which I just switched over to myself.  But you can do well with the free site.  And you need to get people to visit that site.  You can talk to people, call them, email folks.....or use direct mail.  Some people like the phone broadcasting method that comes with the software.

That's okay......but for me personally, I hate telemarketers and do not want to become one either.  But if you like it....go for it.  What ever floats your boat!

Some people already have web sites and blogs....and that is great.  A couple of links here and there and off they go.

But for those who don't have that at their disposal, consider direct mail.  Pull up your software, and run a list.....hit print and print out the address labels.  And then stuff some envelopes and walk to the mailbox.
